Seasons of Love

Once a month St. Mark's parishioners volunteer their time to help an organization called "Season of Love". Seasons of Love is a growing group of people looking to serve the homeless in the surrounding area with necessities. They administer food, clothing, hair cuts, and blood screenings to people in need. St. Mark's parishioners help this gracious organization by preparing food, setting up and tearing down tables, collecting and handing out clothes, coats and toiletries to those less fortunate.

North Pocono Dry Goods Pantry

The North Pocono Dry Goods Pantry is operated and hosted by The Maple Lake United Methodist Church and is supported through donations from member parishes of the North Pocono Ministerium. The dry goods pantry is open monthly and provides needy area families with household items, toiletries and paper goods. Each member congregation is asked to provide specific items for the monthly pantry. Those items change monthly. When you are out shopping, please remember our friends in need, purchase several of these items and bring them to church on Sundays. Let's keep our basket filled so that we may share our good fortune with others.

The monthly items for St. Marks are:

- January - Bar Soap
- February - Toilet Paper
- March - Tooth Paste
- April - Laundry Detergent
- May - Facial Tissues
- June - Dish Washing Liquid
- July - Bar Soap
- August - Toilet Paper
